Classic Apple Crisp Recipe

Apple Crisp:


  • 5-6 cups apples, peeled, cored, and chopped

  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

  • 1/2 cup butter, melted

  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

  • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg

  • 1/4 tsp salt

Cooking Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.

  2. Grease an 8x8 inch baking dish with butter or cooking spray.

  4. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, rolled oats, brown sugar, melted butter, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, and salt. Stir until well combined.

  5. Sprinkle the oat mixture over the chopped apples in the baking dish.

  6. Bake the apple crisp for 35-40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the apples are tender.
