Santo launched Iron Camp Fitness in an effort to provide expert personal training services to the residents of Fort McMurray.  He has been in the fitness industry for over 20 years, both professionally as an owner, manager and personal trainer, as well as personally working toward his own fitness goals.  As a former instructor in the Canadian Armed Forces, he has developed a deep passion for helping others succeed, including his own clients and the personal trainers working for his company.  Santo continually encourages and motivates each person to be the best they can be each and every day.

Dean joined Iron Camp Fitness after completing his Kinesiology Diploma at Keyano College. During his college years, he spent time training college athletes as well as the youth in our community through the Alberta Sport Development Center. He has competed professionally in the MMA and has also ran two half marathons.  He makes his health a priority and tries to be active everyday.  Dean is ready to go that extra mile with  you and your training so you get the best workout, EVERYTIME!  So, the question remains,

Having not always been in the best shape myself, I understand the challenges that stand in the way. He believes with determination, perseverance, hard work and proper coaching with some discipline, all obstacles can be overcome. With almost 4 years of experience as a personal trainer/wellness coach, I have a proven track record of client satisfaction, retention and results. The knowledge, skill and experience gained allow me the flexibility to design a personalized program; which help clients optimize their goals through the evaluation of specific diagnostics, comprehensive assessment and fitness results.

RAE

ACSM Certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist, Outdoor Class Instructor.

 

Rajeanne has an extensive background in clinical exercise science and prescription having worked with individuals who suffer from a number of chronic diseases.  Most of her work has focused on clients with heart disease, however, more recently her expertise have broadened to include diabetes and obesity. If you have any underlying health conditions but you are ready to make a change and just need a little supervision to get started safely, then Rae is the trainer for you.

GEN

Also known as our very own GSP, spends her time both saving lives and improving them health wise. As a Registered Nurse here in town, she has spent many hours educating her patients on the importance of healthy living. She uses that same knowledge to promote holistic health and wellness to the Iron Camp soldiers. Gen is no stranger to exercise. She has completed two half marathons and participated in a body building competition. After being on stage, she struggled with her physical appearance as her weight began to increase. She lost the joy in exercise and nutrition until she joined Iron Camp Fitness as an ICF soldier. Gen loves helping her patients but she has now discovered another love, helping people reach their health and fitness goals. Join Gen in one of her classes – we promise you won’t be disappointed.
